Vanagon rear heater core

Not all heater cores are created equal! Unlike other heater cores , which tend to leak, these will keep you warm and your van dry! Looking to gain some extra space under your bench seat?

This handy little kit has everything you need to cleanly eliminate your rear heater the right way. This will reduce the efficiency of the front heater and you will still have leak .

The rear heater core we offer comes with the bleeder screw and o- ring.

The o-ring (86197) between heater core and control valve is not included and should be changed when doing this repair to ensure no leaks.

Fit all watercooled Vanagon , but not diesel. Unit is assembled and ready to bolt onto the rear heater core - (attaching bolts and nyloc nuts included too). If you wish to delete the rear heater core use these inline metal adaptors and use them in place of the heater core tees.
