Direction control of dc motor

To control the direction , the polarity of the motor is reversed. It can also control the direction of the rotation. Generate PWM and L293D works as output driver.

L293D includes the output clamping diodes for protections.

It will also cover controlling rotation speed using.

PWM signal generated by microcontroller.

DC motors direction and speed control by(Roman).

This looks simple but when this comes to applications it has to be more precise and accurate. Direction control can be achieved by the same microcontroller using slight modifications in its programming language. The combination provides smooth speed control in both clockwise as well as . DC MOTOR SPEED AND DIRECTION CONTROLLER.

Onboard direction control switch.

Motor Supply : to VDC, A. The motor driver has two channels which means that it can controll the direction of two Dc motors simultaneously. Let me walk you through the parts required . A direct current, or DC , motor is the most common type of motor. If you switch the leads, the motor will rotate in the opposite direction.

I hope you all will be absolutely fine and having fun.

No power switches are needed for this circuit, just. The easiest way to do this is using an H-bridge circuit. There are many different models and brands of H-Bridge.

This is another tutorial for microcontroller interfacing series. It is very necessary to go through motor controlling concept, if you are designing an autonomous . This can operate the motor in both directions (Bi- direction ) Clockwise and Anticlockwise (forward and back). Controller used TV remote control to send data to ATmegamicrocontroller through the IR receiver.

If you want to rotate your motor in only one direction , then this is the easiest way to do so. The demand of automation is increasing day by day.

A couple of years back, the automation of drives was very difficult due to the bad efficiencies of the components but after the invention of microcontrollers, it is very easy to control and automate the drives. In small dc motors changing polarity is sufficent to reverse the rotation of shaft. In high voltage dc motors we need to change either field or armature supply.
