ATEC provides skills training, apprenticeship and recruitment services for businesses, existing workers, jobseekers, apprentices and school students. Community Services training is available to students and employers at our Community Services Training Centres at Port Adelaide and Lonsdale. Both sites have up-to-date and well-equipped training facilities with knowledgeable trade . This allows you to develop your trade skills by working in different environments and ensuring continuous employment.

ATEC has over years of experience in training and placing apprentices in diverse roles across the industries and in the community. Our fully equipped training centres in Ottoway and Lonsdale equip apprentices with the preliminary skills and qualifications they need to be placed in real work . We would like to congratulate and recognise the fantastic work undertaken by Ashley Sinclair and the staff at Lonsdale as well as all ATEC staff who show ongoing . This qualification is part of the Metal and Engineering Training Package. It is designed for metal fabrication apprentices.


Students learn how to work with metal , and can specialise in: sheetmetal, ventilation and air conditioning ducting, plate and structural sections, pressure vessels, the forging of custom parts and welding . Specialist areas include toolmaking, maintenance, CNC and fluid power. Moreover, the ATEC has been found to correlate with physical symptoms .
