Pwm based dc motor speed controller

We use it to control the speed of motors and light intensity. Circuit Diagram of PWM Based DC Fan Controller : PWM DC Fan Controller Circuit. The IC 5in this circuit is being operated in astable mode.

Abstract- The electric drive systems used in many industrial applications require higher performance, reliability, variable speed due to its ease of controllability.

The speed control of DC motor is very crucial in applications where precision and protection are of essence.

There are many different ways to control the speed of motors but one very simple and easy way is to use Pulse Width Modulation.

This project uses the above principle to control the speed of the motor by varying the duty cycle of the pulse applied to it (popularly known as PWM control ).

A microcontroller is used to deliver the PWM pulses to the . Automation into better quality, increased production an reduced costs. The variable speed drives, which can control the speed of A. C motors , are indispensable controlling elements in automation systems. PWM based speed control system consists of electronic components (integrated circuits, Sensors etc.).

In this paper, to control the speed of DC motor using Pulse Width Modulation ( PWM ) method. Microcontroller AT89Sis used to generate PWM.

L293D IC is used to drive the motor which is made up of two H-Bridge. The speed of the DC motor is specifically corresponding to the voltage connected over its terminals. Subsequently, if the voltage over the motor terminal is shifte then the speed can . In our robotics applications we may have to control the speed of the DC Motor.

By using PWM we can easily control the average . I WILL USE DAQ CARD FOR INTERFACING.

SO ANYONE PLZ HELP ME AND SEND VI. The considered control system consists of two feedback loops. Speed control of dc motor using pulse width modulation oscillates by IC 5timer . Speed Control Of DC motor Using Pulse Width Modulation Guided By: Ms. But in this tutorial, we are explaining simple and easy way by using the pulse width modulation ( PWM ).
