More intake or exhaust fans

For me, more exhaust than intake has worked better. If you have an extreme amount of fans and have serious airflow then it doesnt seem to matter too much. But with lower airflow cases with only 2-fans the heat is going to rise and build . More about important intake exhaust.

But one intake and two exhaust is usually good enough for me.

If possible, have both fans working as either intake or exhaust.

To determine pressure, total the CFM of all the intake fans and CFM of all the exhaust fans.

If the intake CFM is greater, then you have positive pressure. While simply adding these to your PC may help reduce temperatures, we can use our head and put them in strategic spots on our PCs to get the most out of our cooling! By using one intake and one exhaust fan , we can perform the following: Fresh air is brought in via the intake fans.

Cooler Master SickleFlow 120mm Blue LED Computer Case Fan is it intake or exhaust ? Hi 1) many fans have an arrow moulded into the plastic surround to show the direction of airflow . Short version: Is it better to create positive pressure by having more intake fans, or negative pressure by having more exhaust fans ? Which is better for temperature and dust problem?

One exhaust is ok to direct the airflow past the cpu cooler and out the case. When you do, it will tend to draw in unfiltered air from other openings. Your parts are not hot so you need nothing more.

You need to pull the hot air out and the cool air in.

Since the warmest air is going to rise to the top of the case, I would use both as exhaust. This creates faster and more efficient airflow, more effectively cooling your components. Try to mount all long, flat components like CD drives, hard . PSU intakes from outside the case.

If you change your rear computer exhaust PC case fan into an intake fan , will it make your water cooling more efficient? Is having only exhaust fans fine?

I understand you can install other fans and have them as intake.
